Do I have to verify my HTC account?
No. But this helps us identify you in our system for future customer service or privacy protection. Different HTC Services may choose to enforce the verification or not before user are allowed to use the services.
How do I verify my HTC account?
If you register with email address, you'll receive a verification email right after you register for your HTC Account. A new verification email will also be sent when you change your email address in your profile. To verify your HTC Account, just click the link in the email, or copy and paste the URL to your web browser.
If you register with phone number, you’ll receive a SMS right after you register for your HTC account with a SMS verification popup. A new verification SMS will also be sent when you change your phone number in your profile. To verify your HTC account, just type in the short code in SMS to the SMS verification popup.
What should I do if I didn't receive (or couldn't find) the verification email?
On your phone or computer, open your web browser and go to HTC account website (account.htcvive.com). Click the Resend verification email link on the top of the page.
