First, your content must have OpenVR/SteamVR integrated. Next, you’ll need to plug in an Oculus HMD and open the Oculus desktop software. After logging in, you’ll need to navigate to the settings panel. Under the general settings tab, you must enable the “Unknown Sources” option in order for your OpenVR binary to correctly begin a session with the Oculus Rift HMD. If you’re binary successfully integrates OpenVR correctly, you should be able to launch and playtest it at this stage.
